As Legal Counsel at Openbank, you will support the legal function across Spain and abroad, advising on regulatory and contractual matters for digital retail banking products. You will liaise with product, risk, IT, and compliance teams to guide launches and ensure regulatory compliance.The role includes drafting agreements, advising on new regulations, and contributing to digitalization and innovation projects. - Review, draft and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and client communications
- Support design and approval processes for new products and services and monitor launch
- Advise on implementation of European and national regulations
- Handle administrative filings and procedures before public registries
- Participate in digitalization and innovation projects
- Degree in Spanish Law; Fully qualified lawyer in Spain
- LLM in Banking Law (plus)
- +6 years of experience in banking legal environment
- Experience with banking/investment product regulation and consumer protection laws
- Fluent in English (C1); MS advanced level required
- Proactive, innovative, customer-oriented; strong teamwork and stakeholder collaboration
