You’ll shape the compliance framework, drive risk-based monitoring, and lead remediation with first-line stakeholders. The position combines strong regulatory expertise with leadership to enable sustainable business growth. A key highlight is influencing multi‑jurisdictional teams in a demanding, governance‑driven environment.

• Lead and develop a high‑performing compliance team focused on product and service monitoring
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and supervisory expectations across BJBE entities
• Champion the Second Line of Defense by providing independent assessment to front-line functions
• Advise business units and product development on regulatory implications and upcoming rules
• Assess impact of evolving regulations (MiFID II, IDD, AML/CFT, CRS/FATCA, Sanctions, MAR, ESG) and translate into guidance and controls
• Contribute to cross-functional projects for new product launches, market expansion, or system implementations with compliance integration
• Design and refine a risk-based compliance monitoring framework aligned with group standards
• Oversee annual Compliance Control Plan and drive timely escalation of findings
• Drive remediation with first-line stakeholders and monitor progress to resolution
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports detailing control effectiveness, issues, and mitigations
• Represent Compliance in internal committees and coordinate regulator/audit responses

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in financial services compliance, preferably private banking/wealth management or Big Four consultancy
• In-depth knowledge of MiFID II, fraud detection mechanisms, and tax compliance protocols
• Proficiency in data analytics for risk assessment and monitoring efficiency
• Strong attention to detail with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
