In this role you will lead risk and compliance efforts for the French market, serving as the main liaison with international regulators and driving data-driven compliance oversight. You will monitor regulatory developments, assess incidents and trends, and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams.You will shape long-term risk strategies aligned with GDPR and international frameworks, while delivering clear regulatory communications. This position offers an opportunity to impact regulatory outcomes at scale within a global e-commerce context.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Produce periodic risk and compliance reports for the French market and analyze incidents and data quality
- Act as the primary liaison between AliExpress France operations and international regulatory authorities
- Monitor product compliance developments in key markets (France focus) and coordinate with Legal for remediation
- Develop long-term risk mitigation strategies aligned with local and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR)
- Respond to ad-hoc compliance incidents, draft official correspondence and regulatory submissions, and provide ongoing international compliance support
- Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 5 years in financial services, e-commerce risk governance, or regulatory compliance
- Strong ability to interpret legal/regulatory texts and understand regulatory workflows
- Data-savvy with solid analytical capabilities; SQL proficiency and data analysis experience is a plus
- Full professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, with excellent communication and cross-functional coordination
