Experteer Overview

In this role you will lead HR strategy and operations for the Madrid unit, partnering with business leaders to drive people initiatives. You will act as a change agent, aligning local practices with global HR standards and supporting organizational transformation.

You will manage mobility, compliance, recruitment, budgeting, and performance cycles to enable sustainable business delivery. This position offers impact across functions in a multinational, sustainability-focused company. You will influence culture and people capability to support growth and efficiency.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
  • Deploy and optimize HR policies and processes at country/site level aligned with ALSTOM HR guidelines
  • Act as a business partner to leaders, coaching on HR matters, leadership and organizational change
  • Manage global/local mobility and delegation policies and ensure compliant local implementation
  • Collaborate with internal and external interfaces (Payroll, Global HR Management)
  • Lead HR processes for the client group (performance management, salary review, development, separation)
  • Coordinate and support management and employees on the ALSTOM People Management Cycle (PMC) and local self-service
  • Oversee HR data analysis to address attrition, staffing, performance and training needs
  • Plan and monitor HC budget, workforce planning and 3-year plan; manage recruitment and headcount reporting
  • Drive compensation reviews, promotions, internal mobility, and labor law compliance
  • Maintain industrial relations and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements
Responsabilidades
  • University degree in human resources, psychology, business studies, social science or economy
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar HR generalist role in a multinational/multicultural environment
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws
  • Experience in HR operations (talent availability, salary & benefits, compliance, tax, social context)
  • Recruitment, staff planning and labor cost budgeting experience
  • Solid understanding of HR management tools, policies and processes
  • Experience in industry; transport or railway sector is a plus
  • Languages: Spanish and English
  • Desirable: understanding of finance concepts (P&L, balance sheet), regional HR practices, international delegation methods, familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or SAP
