In this Senior Legal Counsel role, you’ll support King’s AI growth and commercial activities within a global legal team. You’ll guide risk-based AI adoption, protect IP, and manage compliance across evolving laws, while also handling commercial contracts and data protection matters.You’ll collaborate with AI and business teams to enable innovative gaming initiatives and ensure prudent legal risk management. This position offers meaningful impact by shaping how AI is deployed across King’s ecosystem.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Partner with the AI centre of excellence to enable risk-based AI adoption and tool intake processes
- Manage legal guidance on AI initiatives and protect King’s IP and mitigate litigation risk
- Draft, review and negotiate AI tool contracts with third-party providers
- Ensure compliance with evolving AI-related laws in partnership with AI experts
- Provide ad hoc training to the legal team and business as needed
- Advise on commercial matters across business units and negotiate a wide range of contracts (marketing, IT/tech)
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements; advise on day-to-day privacy issues in contracts; collaborate with specialist privacy lawyers as needed
- 5–8 years PQE (or equivalent) in a similar role
- Experience and knowledge of UK and European laws
- Experience in AI implementation and understanding of available technologies
- Experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, especially marketing and IT/tech; exposure to digital marketing and ad tech contracts
- Qualified to practice law in the UK or equivalent qualifications in other relevant jurisdictions
