In this Systems Engineer role, you’ll support the sales team by handling pre-sales technical matters and acting as the main technical resource on customer calls. You will qualify leads from a technical standpoint, explain features and integration options, and assist with post-sales training.The role sits at the intersection of networking and security, leveraging Fortinet’s cybersecurity platform to address real customer challenges. This is an impact-focused position in a fast-growing team, offering exposure to diverse customers and advanced security technologies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical win and customer satisfaction.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective (pre-sales)
- Serve as the primary technical resource on sales calls, explaining features, specs, and integration
- Demonstrate familiarity with networking applications and solutions
- Provide post-sales training and customer assistance
- Support the sales organization with technical guidance during pre-sales and engagements
- 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- 5–8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
- Proficiency with protocols and technologies: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Graduate degree preferred
