In this role you guide AI-enabled commercial initiatives within AstraZeneca’s Biopharmaceuticals unit, shaping how AI delivers measurable business impact across Europe and Canada. You bridge business needs with AI delivery teams and own the full lifecycle of AI solutions—from ideation to decommissioning—driving value, adoption, and scalable change.

You’ll collaborate with regional leaders and enterprise AI teams to steer strategic programs that enhance customer engagement and commercial performance. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role focused on translating science and business priorities into actionable AI roadmaps.

  • Own strategy and portfolio for AI Commercial programs in partnership with business teams
  • Be the single point of contact for Region AI capabilities programs and maintain AI roadmaps
  • Translate business needs into well-defined AI use cases with measurable impact
  • Lead delivery, scale, adoption, and value tracking across the AI program lifecycle
  • Drive change management, governance, AI literacy, and data compliance across operations
  • Ensure AI solutions align with quality, legal, compliance, PV and safety standards
  • Partner with Enterprise Demand Excellence and AITT to guarantee AI-ready data and enterprise governance
  • Foster cross-functional delivery relationships and co-development with Commercial AI and Global Business Services teams
  • Define KPIs, monitoring, and mechanisms to adapt programs based on outcomes
  • Champion reuse principles to scale successful AI solutions across therapy areas and regions
Responsabilidades
  • Substantial proven experience leading transformation programs in commercial pharma
  • Strong analytical and communication skills across matrixed organizations
  • Excellent stakeholder management with a consultative approach and trust-building ability
  • Operationally organized with strong follow-through and initiative
  • Financial acumen including forecasting, budgets, and tools
  • Resourceful, proactive, and capable of prioritizing in a fast-growing environment
  • Experience in strategic planning processes and project management tools
