Experteer Overview

As Senior Product Manager for Fraud Prevention, you will lead the strategy and execution of customer-centric controls across Ebury’s fintech products, safeguarding customers and assets while expanding into new verticals and rails. You’ll partner with Operations, Compliance, Engineering, Data and Security to stay ahead of evolving threats and regulatory changes.

You will drive a measurable reduction in fraud and false positives through scalable, real-time controls and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers broad impact across global payments and security posture.

  • Conduct research on emerging fraud trends and attacker methods across B2B & B2C contexts.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and design risk-balanced product features to enhance security.
  • Formulate and drive a fraud-focused product strategy aligned with domain goals and company direction.
  • Own controls across transactional, document, and behavioral fraud.
  • Detect abnormal user behavior in onboarding, authentication, and payment journeys.
  • Translate control gaps into actionable roadmaps covering fiat, crypto (stablecoins), and card/payment journeys.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment with Operations, Compliance, and Data teams.
  • Collaborate with Data Science on predictive models (understanding behavior, inputs, outputs, thresholds).
  • Coordinate with Security on account compromise and attacker tooling signals.
  • Design real-time and pre-authorisation controls; define step-up, blocking, and friction based on risk signals.
  • Translate regulatory and risk requirements into clear product requirements.
  • Work with Engineering on vendor integrations, event schemas, data models, and system performance.
Responsabilidades
  • 4+ years as a Product Manager
  • 2+ years developing Anti-Fraud products
  • Domain expertise in card or transfer/payment fraud
  • Experience managing AI products (nice to have)
  • Experience leading vendor evaluations and integrations
  • Analytical thinking and involvement in system design discussions
  • Ability to influence across functions and geographies to drive execution
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical field (nice to have)
