Production Executive, IO - ES, PV Intl Originals-Production
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a seasoned production professional to join our Spanish team, reporting to the Head of Production & Post Production, International Originals Spain and will be assigned a specific set of show projects within the organization.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of complex tasks and projects quickly; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively help solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the business.
The candidate will also have great attention to detail and organization skills, as well as the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key.
The role requires versatility in supporting a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from movies and series to unscripted content, rather than focusing on a single genre. The candidate will be comfortable working across various formats and production types to support Amazon's broad content offering.
Key job responsibilities
Support multiple projects in development and production, through delivery and launch; Collaborate closely with show producers, production teams and creative executives in budget and production meetingsCollaborate with internal departments and production companies on production safety, security, insurance, child labour, immigration, visa, travel, and tax issues; Is on-set when necessary to evaluate work-flow, budgets and potential problems both domestically and abroad (as needed); Analyses budgets and cost reports; Works with post-production to insure delivery of all required assets; Coordination with other internal departments such as creative, marketing, press, business affairs, legal, finance, and tax.
- Extensive experience in key production roles (producer, production manager, or executive production manager).
- Strong knowledge and experience in all forms of productions across all budget levels.
- High level of competency with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
- On-set problem solving ability.- International production experience desirable
- Strong knowledge of film, series and TV shows productions
- Experience with film and television unions and guilds
- Working knowledge of location-specific production guidelines and procedures
- Wide array of industry contacts
- Experience with asset delivery
- Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post-production
- High attention to detail
- Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
