You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, stay ahead of evolving privacy requirements, and support incident response and DPIA activities. This position offers impact across a global technology leader, blending legal analysis with practical business advice.

• Provide privacy legal and advisory support to HP Business Units and Global Functions on privacy matters
• Review, draft, and negotiate data protection clauses, DPAs, and data sharing agreements
• Maintain and update standard privacy contractual templates in line with laws and HP policies
• Advise on global privacy laws and regulatory implications
• Contribute to privacy risk assessments and DPIAs/PIAs with mitigations
• Collaborate with business units to ensure privacy requirements are understood and implemented
• Support legal assessment of personal data breaches and regulatory notifications
• Provide guidance on data subject requests and complex sensitive cases
• Assist regulatory, audit, and compliance activities related to privacy
• Support continuous improvement of HP’s privacy governance, templates, and processes
• Stay updated on evolving privacy laws and enforcement trends

• 7–10 years in privacy and data protection
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial and data protection agreements
• Experience providing practical privacy advice to business stakeholders in multinational or tech contexts
• State Bar Membership or equivalent legal qualification
• IAPP CIPP/E or equivalent privacy certifications (preferred)
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and global privacy frameworks
• Strong drafting and communication skills for non-legal audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously
• Excellent stakeholder management in international settings
