As a Staff Fullstack Engineer at Hostaway, you will shape a new Trust Accounting white-label subsystem for property managers, ensuring compliant, accurate handling of owner funds. You will influence architecture from day one and drive delivery across frontend and backend.You’ll work in a growth-focused, cross-functional environment that values correctness, observability, and collaboration. Compensaciones / Beneficios- Lead greenfield MVP development and define the initial architecture for the V1 product
- Develop a flexible white-label React frontend for the trust accounting subsystem
- Build backend data relay to connect white-label frontend with internal data systems
- Deliver a secure, scalable, auditable accounting subsystem with high quality standards
- Refine delivery processes to improve speed, reliability, and team autonomy
- Champion engineering practices emphasizing quality, resilience, and observability
- Provide technical context in discussions, promoting transparency and accountability
- Establish frontend CI/CD pipelines to enable independent deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering) to ensure alignment
- Review and guide PRs, mentor juniors, and manage technical debt and testing
- 8+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with at least 2 years at Staff level
- Extensive expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong frontend experience with React
- Experience architecting and developing white-label solutions
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles and production code delivery
- Proven track record in product-focused SaaS or platform environments
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially with distributed teams
- Experience in agile environments with changing priorities
- Accounting or ledger product experience is a plus
