In this Data Engineer role, you will build and maintain scalable, privacy-conscious data pipelines to support multiple business stakeholders. You will work with AWS-native services and internal Amazon tools to ingest, organize, and ensure high-quality data for analytics and AI platforms.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data ingestions with business needs and governance standards. The role leverages new technologies, including Gen AI, to accelerate development and improve data quality. You’ll contribute to a culture that values scalable data infrastructure and data hygiene while delivering impactful data solutions.

- Ingest data using AWS-native services and internal Amazon tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data meets business needs and is well-modeled for scalable usage
- Leverage Gen AI and other new technologies to accelerate development and improve data quality
- Discuss requirements with business units across verticals and translate them into data solutions
- Develop and maintain frameworks/tools for internal and external data usage
- Perform code reviews to enforce ETL and data hygiene best practices
- Update AI Agents to streamline data engineering tasks
- Experience in data engineering
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines
- Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)
