In this role you help grow ABB's robotics business by bringing automation to foodservice and retail. You’ll lead engineering activities across multiple disciplines, translating concepts into practical designs and documentation. The position partners with proposals, project management, and suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet quality and safety standards.You’ll work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment and shape impactful robotics projects at scale.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Support the proposal phase by clarifying requirements, defining scope, designing concepts, estimating costs, assessing risks, and coordinating vendor evaluations
- Lead the engineering phase by translating designs into engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate engineering teams (in-house and outsourced) on projects
- Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to resolve issues
- Contribute to R&D projects and standardization activities to drive innovation and consistency across solutions
- 4+ years in robotics, automation, or related technologies with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects
- Hands-on experience in technical solution design, system integration, and engineering execution
- Experience supporting proposal phases (scope definition, costing, risk assessment, vendor coordination)
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Degree in Engineering or a related field with solid knowledge of robotics and automation
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
