In this role you will lead standard costing and cost accounting efforts for the Colors team in Lerma, Mexico, partnering with operations to drive accuracy and continuous improvement in a global setting. You will manage a small team, oversee cost structures and inventories, and deliver timely reports to US stakeholders and international teams.This position offers hands-on influence on plant performance and financial results within a dynamic, cross-border environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Lead and oversee standard costing processes, maintaining cost structures, manufacturing routes, and bills of materials
- Manage and develop a small team, providing guidance and performance support
- Analyze and control cost variances, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor cost changes, including raw material price fluctuations and production impacts
- Coordinate and oversee physical inventory processes with strong internal controls
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial and cost reports to U.S. stakeholders and global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience with leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
