As Purchasing Director you will lead Materials Management to drive cost-efficient sourcing while upholding luxury standards and sustainability. You will manage purchasing, storeroom, and receiving, reporting to the Director of Finance, and collaborate with department heads to align specifications with operations.You’ll optimize procurement strategy, maintain vendor relationships, and mentor the procurement team, contributing to the hotel’s financial and guest-experience excellence.

- Collaborate with department heads to ensure specifications meet operational needs
- Optimize purchasing strategies via market analysis and trend monitoring
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee contract tender processes
- Ensure HACCP and corporate sustainability compliance
- Manage stock levels, inventory, and monthly audits
- Oversee procurement documentation and reporting for Accounting and Finance
- Mentor and develop a high-performing procurement team
- Participate in tastings and supplier evaluations with F&B and culinary leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years in a Purchasing Manager role within luxury hospitality
- At least 3 years in a team leadership position
- Strong background in contract negotiation and project management
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP and quality assurance standards
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish highly desirable
- Highly organized, analytical, and deadline-driven
- Preferred: additional language skills; prior pre-opening or renovation project experience
