In this role, you will lead the local medical and patient strategy in Spain, ensuring alignment with global objectives and addressing country-specific needs. You will act as the medical authority and strategic partner across the organization, shaping initiatives that advance patient-centric outcomes.You will oversee clinical studies and omnichannel medical communication while upholding ethical and regulatory standards. This position offers impact through cross-functional leadership and close collaboration with healthcare professionals, authorities, and patient groups.
You will help translate global strategies into local action and drive scientific excellence in a dynamic pharma environment.

- Execute the medical plan and drive innovative approaches for local healthcare challenges
- Serve as medical expert ensuring scientific accuracy across activities
- Oversee clinical studies, data generation, and omnichannel medical communication
- Maintain regulatory and ethical compliance at all times
- Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, authorities, and patient associations
- Provide medical insights and training to internal stakeholders (marketing, field teams)
- Lead and develop local medical and patient-centric teams (MSLs, clinical liaisons)
- Collaborate with General Management, Marketing, Market Access, and Corporate Medical teams
- Manage medical budgets, performance tracking, and reporting
- Share local insights to inform regional and global strategy
- Advanced scientific background (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)
- At least 8 years’ experience in Medical Affairs
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks, market access, and digital/omnichannel medical activities
- High standards of ethics and integrity
- Fluent in Spanish and English
