Data Center Design Manager (Electrical)

You will shape design standards and pursue long-term innovation within a sustainability-focused, global company.

• Act as Design Manager for data centre projects, leading electrical design from concept to closeout
• Remain hands-on in electrical design and own critical design aspects
• Lead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs within a multidisciplinary team
• Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality across projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the DC Design u0026 Engineering team
• Develop and uphold electrical design standards, procedures, and best practices
• Review and approve designs, calculations, reports, and specs; facilitate peer reviews
• Serve as client-facing technical lead in meetings with clients, contractors, and Eaton
• Lead value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision-making
• Participate in site visits to monitor, review, and resolve electrical installation and commissioning matters
• Collaborate with project management, commercial, and construction teams to ensure project success

• BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering (MSc preferred)
• 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities
• Experience with MV and LV power distribution, transformers, UPS and standby generation
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
• Experience with value engineering and integrating new technologies
• AutoCAD and Revit knowledge advantageous
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Italian u0026 English
• Familiarity with edge computing and AI concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
