Operations Center Technical Lead

The position emphasizes uptime, safety, and efficient response to system disturbances. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical depth with cross-functional collaboration to sustain high availability of the wind fleet.

• Oversee daily ROC operations including remote commissioning, real-time monitoring, surveillance, and reporting
• Coordinate 24/7 ROC activities to ensure safe, compliant operations year-round
• Assist field teams with commissioning, diagnostics, and remote troubleshooting during PLI closures
• Escalate unresolved issues with detailed information for higher-level technical support
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement
• Communicate technical information through reports, presentations, and updates to site teams
• Investigate performance anomalies at control and design levels to support operational excellence
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, digitization, and automation within ROC
• Coordinate planned and unplanned grid outages with safety and minimal disruption

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering or 3+ years wind sector experience
• On-site technical experience with wind turbine generators and ability to read electrical schematics
• Proficient in SCADA systems and MS Office; willingness to travel
• Strong reporting and documentation management skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish a plus
