As Area Manager, you will lead Shift Managers and Schedulers to optimize Same Day delivery across the EU, balancing hands-on operations with scalable processes. You’ll use data to drive decisions, improve performance, and ensure a reliable customer experience while managing costs and partner satisfaction.

The role sits at the center of a fast-moving network, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and protect delivery speed. This is a high-ownership role with impact across multiple markets and a strong bias for action.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
  • Lead a team of Shift Managers and Schedulers across the EU AMZL Same Day network, providing coaching and building leadership depth while ensuring timely execution of critical tasks.
  • Monitor real-time operations across the EU network, coordinating with site operators to respond to demand fluctuations and exceptions while maintaining service quality.
  • Drive performance through data-driven analysis, deep dives into delivery trends, capacity utilization, and metrics to identify gaps and implement corrective actions during network-wide DBRs.
  • Build scalable processes and systems, creating standard work and scrappy solutions to overcome technical limitations while enabling remote support.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, customer experience, and delivery partner satisfaction to deliver step-function improvements.
  • Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Speed, S&OP and DSP partners to evaluate technical improvements and align on capacity forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate performance reporting, tracking daily and weekly metrics to support data-driven decisions and cross-department information flow.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning for Amazon’s delivery network to maximize capacity, quality, and cost efficiency across EU markets.
  • Execute best practices balancing daily operations with scalability while upholding safety standards and customer demand.
  • Create and manage recognition and communication programs to drive team engagement and positive employee relations.
Responsabilidades
  • Bachelor degree
  • People management experience
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Advanced English and local language communication
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
