In this Regulatory SME role, you lead the interpretation of GHS/CLP and Dangerous Goods regulations to ensure Roche Diagnostics products are classified correctly and compliant worldwide. You will craft auditable Regulatory Opinions and translate legal text into actionable guidance for technical teams.You shape the long-term compliance roadmap and collaborate across the Center of Excellence to apply regulations to real-world product data and SDS outputs. Compensaciones / Beneficios- Lead technical evaluation of new and changing regulations (GHS/CLP, Dangerous Goods) and produce auditable Regulatory Opinions
- Assess product impact of chemical compositions and designs under hazard communication standards
- Define long-term compliance strategy and roadmap to future-proof Roche Diagnostics portfolio
- Support cross-functional implementation projects, ensuring operational teams apply regulatory opinions to compliance outputs (e.g., SDS)
- Serve as primary internal technical expert for regulatory queries, prioritizing by risk and business impact
- University degree in Natural Science (Chemistry, Biology, or related) with transition into Regulatory Affairs
- Deep understanding of Hazard Communication (GHS/CLP) and solid grasp of Dangerous Goods frameworks
- Strong analytical ability to translate legal/regulatory text into technical data and rationale
- Effective communication skills to explain regulations to scientists and executives
- Collaborative mindset for work within a global Center of Excellence and with Monitoring squads and Operational teams
