Experteer Overview
In this role you collaborate on Corporate & Investment Banking’s innovation strategy focusing on blockchain and crypto, with a cross‑business view. You drive and deliver blockchain projects in a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with CIB, engineering and customer solutions.You connect with external stakeholders to explore complementarities and broaden internal blockchain knowledge. You help shape the CIB Innovation and Partnerships agenda and support growth across geographies.

- Lead and deliver blockchain-related innovation projects in multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with CIB Business Areas, Engineering and Customer Solutions
- Engage with external stakeholders (financial institutions, corporates, fintechs, providers) to identify collaboration opportunities
- Broaden internal knowledge of innovation and blockchain across CIB BBVA
- Support building the CIB Innovation and Partnerships agenda and drive business growth initiatives across geographies
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or computer science
- Strong understanding of blockchain, digital assets, tokenization and crypto
- At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial institutions
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and banking products
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive innovation
- Fluent in English and Spanish
