In this role you will collaborate on CIB innovation strategy with a focus on blockchain and crypto, working across business areas and engineering to execute blockchain projects. You will connect with external stakeholders and foster internal expertise in innovation and blockchain, contributing to business transformation and growth across geographies.The position offers a cross-functional, impact-driven environment where you help shape the future of digital assets in banking.

- Execute and deliver blockchain-focused innovation projects in a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate with CIB Business Areas, Engineering and Customer Solutions teams
- Engage external stakeholders (financial institutions, corporates, fintechs, providers) to identify complementary opportunities
- Broaden internal knowledge and expertise in CIB BBVA around innovation and blockchain
- Support building the CIB Innovation and Partnerships agenda with business areas
- Focus on business transformation initiatives aimed at growth in clients and revenues across geographies
- Bachelor in Finance, Economics, Business or Computer Science
- Strong understanding of Blockchain/Digital Assets/Tokenization/Crypto
- At least 6 years of experience in banking or financial institutions
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and banking products
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace emerging trends, and drive innovation
- Fluent in English and Spanish
