As a Database Architect, you will define and implement scalable database solutions that align with the company’s strategy. You’ll shape the database roadmap, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity across platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into robust architectures and governance.

This role offers impact in driving data strategy and enabling scalable, secure data assets in a global tech environment. You will lead complex initiatives that advance our data platform and support business objectives.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

Develop and articulate a long-term database strategy aligned with business objectives
Evaluate and recommend database technologies, platforms, and architectures
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions
Design and implement complex database architectures including OLTP and other data platform models
Develop data models, schemas, and normalization rules for integrity and efficiency
Optimize performance via indexing, query tuning, and monitoring
Design automation routines for Database Engineers to follow
Establish data governance policies, standards, and retention strategies
Lead and manage database-related projects with the Database Engineering Team Manager and cross-functional teams

Responsabilidades

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years of experience in DBA work, architecture, and design
Proven track record of leading complex database projects and initiatives
Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization
Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with data platforms for Microsoft SQL Server and Open Source Postgres and MySQL
