Director, Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment Legal

In this role you will provide expert employment law counsel across the EMEA region, supporting Employee Success, Labour Relations and Employee Relations, and partnering with business teams. You will handle complex disputes, advise on hiring, compensation, and restructuring, and help shape policies and training materials.The position anchors Salesforce’s cross-border employment strategy in Italy or Spain while collaborating with global teams. This role offers impact in a fast-paced tech environment that values practical business judgment and responsiveness.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Advise on employment matters including hiring, investigations, discipline, terminations, reorganizations, leaves, wage and hour, anti-discrimination, compensation and benefits, and M&A due diligence and integration
- Handle legal demand letters, charges and disputes independently
- Manage labour and employment litigation and other contentious matters
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop employment policies, guidelines, processes and training
- Develop and maintain employment documentation (contracts, confidentiality and settlement agreements, sales compensation docs)
- Coordinate with external local counsel on employment matters
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies
- Educate clients on legal matters, policies and procedures
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- Travel to Milan or Madrid for team meetings and engagements
- 12+ years' post-qualification experience in employment law
- 4+ years' in-house experience preferred
- Current qualification in Italy or Spain (home location)
- Experience with a US multinational and with a tech firm is desirable
- Experience advising on employment law across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
- Experience with employment litigation in Italy or Spain and other EMEA jurisdictions
- Experience advising on collective and labour relations matters
- Ability to provide practical, tailored, commercial advice
- Experience with information and consultation requirements under the Acquired Rights Directive
- Project coordination for pan-European initiatives
