As a Senior Front End Engineer at Workato, you will design, build, and optimize a sophisticated UI for our modern integration platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality, reusable front-end components and features.
You will tackle performance challenges and architect simple, scalable solutions in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape user experience and impact how customers automate complex workflows at scale.

Build efficient and reusable front-end components
Collaborate with Product Managers and Experience Designers to iterate on design and implementation
Identify and resolve performance issues
Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions

Responsabilidades

7+ years of front-end focused software development
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong hands-on experience with Angular (or any other framework, but ready to switch to Angular fast)
Solid knowledge of TypeScript
Advanced-level knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experience in building responsive web interfaces using the latest HTML and CSS technologies
Good understanding of how browsers and DOM work
Familiar with web security, SEO and accessibility
Familiar with browser performance optimizations
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
Experience delivering large-scale web applications
Knowledge of QA automation processes and tools (Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium & etc)
Fluency with the Unix command line interface
Contributions to open source projects
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics: Keen eye for design details and a strong sense of good UX
Willing to go the extra mile to do things right and fast
