Frontend Product Engineer
£100,000 – £200,000 + meaningful equity
About the Opportunity
We're hiring on behalf of an AI-native law firm rebuilding legal services from the ground up.
Legal is a trillion-dollar industry still operating on legacy workflows. This company is changing that by embedding AI directly into how legal work gets done — enabling lawyers to focus on judgment and outcomes, not low-leverage manual work.
Backed by $9M+ funding from a tier-1 US VC, the product is already used daily by real lawyers on real cases. Its still early — and this is a chance to shape the product foundation.
The Role
This is a frontend product engineering role focused on building the user layer where trust in AI is earned.
You will translate powerful backend and agent capabilities into clear, controllable, high-trust interfaces for legal professionals.
Think:
- Cursor-like environments for legal work
- Agent interaction surfaces
- Document review workflows
- Complex, state-heavy product UX
This is not a ticket-taking frontend role — it's product engineering with strong system awareness.
What You'll Build- High-trust agent interaction interfaces (chat, actions, citations)
- Document review & editing workflows (diffs, comments, apply/reject flows)
- Matter views, dashboards, and workflow states
- Scalable UI patterns in Next.js + TypeScript
- State architectures enabling rapid feature shipping
