Experteer Overview

As a Hardware-focused Product Specialist at SumUp, you bridge hardware, software, and merchant needs to drive smooth onboarding and adoption of new products. You collaborate with Product, Engineering, and operations to resolve issues quickly and share actionable feedback for ongoing improvements.

You’ll support merchant-facing teams and early-stage products, helping scale a global card-acceptance platform. This role offers hands-on problem solving in payment terminals, printers, and scanners with a clear impact on merchant success.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

Troubleshoot and resolve bug reports from Merchant-Facing teams with minimal merchant disruption
Identify recurring issues, document reproduction steps and context, and escalate appropriately
Address daily questions from stakeholders across multiple teams with timely responses
Maintain clear incident and resolution documentation to improve future case handling
Provide frontline onboarding and technical support for early-stage products
Deliver upskilling training to Customer Support teams to improve autonomy and escalation accuracy
Escalate technical or operational issues for early-stage products to Product and Engineering

Responsabilidades

Solid understanding of SumUp products supported; able to handle most standard troubleshooting cases
Deliver clear, structured feedback to Product and Engineering with proper documentation
Contribute to achieving activation milestones for early adopters via proactive engagement
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, and merchant-facing teams
Participate in weekly syncs and serve as a reliable point of contact for early-stage needs
