Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive the development, certification and in-service support of air-to-air refueling systems for Airbus defence platforms. You join the TADYR2 department and work across the full lifecycle—from concept to aircraft validation and certification—collaborating with multiple internal teams and suppliers.You will tackle multidisciplinary challenges in mechanical, actuation, and control systems, with a strong focus on safety, quality and performance. This is a hands-on, impact‑driven position at the crossroads of engineering, integration and customer support.
You will work on cutting‑edge systems shaping aerial refueling capabilities and operational readiness.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Develop boom actuation and control systems
- Design and integrate electromechanical and hydraulic actuators
- Apply mechanical engineering basics (design, stress, fatigue, mechanisms)
- Specify and install flight control systems, including electrical wiring and rigging
- Develop flight control subsystems and equipment, supervise suppliers, and manage qualification testing
- Oversee control electronics and power electronics
- Create and execute testing rigs and validation activities
- Perform safety analyses from architecture validation to FMEA and SSA
- Apply data science to test data, including large-scale analysis
- Leverage machine learning, computer vision and AI to improve systems development
- Manage product lifecycle activities from concept to certification and supply chain coordination
- Collaborate with manufacturing and services to optimize industrialization and in-service support
- Engineering degree in aeronautical, mechanical, industrial or electronic discipline
- 3+ years of development, installation and certification experience for aircraft control systems
- Knowledge of control/actuation technologies for safety-critical systems
- Avionics/control computer basics: power, interfaces, sensors, data buses, EMI/EMC
- Mechatronics expertise across electronics, actuators, mechanisms and hydraulics
- Experience with system testing environments and bench testing, integration and environmental testing
- Desirable: Matlab/Simulink, automatic code generation for on-board control software
- Desirable: RAMS methodologies and safety analysis experience
- Desirable: airworthiness/certification exposure and knowledge of Airbus DS directives
- Advanced English language skills
