As AAR Control System Engineer at Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, you lead multidisciplinary teams to define, develop, and integrate control, monitoring and recording subsystems for Airbus aircraft and refueling systems. You connect systems architecture with safety, quality and performance goals across the lifecycle, from concept to certification.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. This role offers impact on air refueling technology and avionics at a systems level.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

Develop flight control computers functionality (SW) for mechatronic systems
Design control electronics (digital/analog) and power electronics
Work with communication interfaces (A429, CAN, ETH, RS232, etc.) and computing architectures (CPU, FPGA, GPU)
Specify and monitor development of electronic flight control equipment from suppliers; perform integration and acceptance testing
Lead supplier monitoring activities (SoW, design reviews, qualification, steering)
Apply safety analysis (architecture validation, PSSA, FMEA, SSA) across hardware/software
Oversee concept-to-installation lifecycle activities (design, installation, testing, certification)
Explore computer vision and data science techniques for autonomous control (nice to have)
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for ARBS/aerospace control system development
Support Build-To-Operate lifecycle and in-service improvements

Responsabilidades

Leadership and team-focused capabilities
Electronic, telecommunications or aerospace engineering background
3+ years in development, installation and certification of avionics systems (electronics control)
Knowledge of control architectures for safety and availability (redundancy, etc.)
Experience with control computers, power electronics, interfaces (A429, CAN, 1553, AFDX, etc.)
Qualifications on EMI/EMC, environmental, and equipment qualification
Experience with system testing environments and tools (SEAS, LabVIEW/Veristand, AIDASS)
Familiarity with simulation/modelling tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and automatic code generation
Understanding of airworthiness/certification processes and RAMS concepts
Knowledge of Airbus DS development/certification directives and configuration control
Experience with on-board systems lifecycle and design-to-service concepts
Desirable: mechatronics background, RAMS hands-on experience
Desirable: computer vision, AI/deep learning for smart control
