As a Senior Security Engineer at The Knot Worldwide, you will lead strategic security initiatives across multi-cloud environments and mentor the InfoSec team. You’ll influence architectural decisions and shape the long-term security vision for TKWW.You tackle complex security challenges, drive cross-functional security improvements, and elevate automation and tooling to protect our platforms. This role offers impact at scale, collaborating with engineering leaders to secure products and services that power moments for millions.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Lead strategy, design, and implementation of security controls across corporate and production environments
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a security-first culture
- Architect and implement secure, scalable containerized architectures in multi-cloud setups
- Collaborate with engineering leads to embed security in product and platform roadmaps
- Own threat detection, vulnerability management, and escalation for complex remediation
- Act as SME for critical domains (Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, Cloud Network Security)
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis to drive preventive measures
- Identify opportunities to improve process maturity and automation with internal security tooling
- Provide continuous technical support and escalation for security issues
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years in security engineering or security architecture in large-scale production environments
- 5+ years securing cloud applications and infrastructure (AWS strongly preferred)
- Proven track record leading cross-functional projects
- Deep understanding of vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and automated remediation
- Expert knowledge of AWS services and Akamai; Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes; production EKS/GKE security
- Experience with secure microservices/API architectures and security tooling (WAF, Bot Management)
- Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders at all levels
