Senior Security Engineer (100% remote-friendly within Spain)

You’ll communicate complex risks clearly to stakeholders and drive security improvements in cloud and on-prem environments. This position offers impactful work shaping secure healthcare technology at scale and the flexibility of a remote-friendly culture.

• Define and roadmap security operations strategy and long-term plans
• Improve processes, tooling, documentation, and training to mature incident response
• Design, implement, and maintain security events monitoring systems
• Perform daily alert investigations and incident response in cloud-native and traditional environments
• Identify, scope, and manage incidents, developing remediation plans to improve security maturity
• Normalize, analyze, and correlate security events from application logs
• Assist development and operations teams to enhance log monitoring capabilities
• Implement threat intel feeds and automation

• 5+ years of security operations experience including alert triage, investigation, and incident response
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems from scratch
• Proficiency in managing the incident lifecycle with multiple concurrent work streams
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and OWASP Top 10
