As Principal Architect for Martech at AstraZeneca, you shape the strategic direction of our Martech architecture, aligning capabilities with business and IT priorities. You lead enterprise design thinking, set architecture standards, and drive roadmaps and blueprints across marketing automation, commerce, and content platforms.You collaborate with senior business and IT leaders to translate strategies into architecture requirements and influence cross-functional decisions. You will stay ahead of industry trends, educate partners, and contribute to a scalable, compliant tech landscape that accelerates AstraZeneca’s mission to deliver life-changing medicines.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define the Martech architecture strategy, direction, and standards
- Develop and maintain Martech Architecture Roadmaps and Blueprints (1–5 year horizon)
- Translate business priorities into enterprise architecture requirements
- Act as sign-off authority for solutions, segment architectures, and roadmaps
- Nurture EA initiatives across IS and engage external experts for trends
- Lead cross-functional decision-making and strategic advisory for senior management
- Ensure architectures align with global strategies and information management
- Establish EA standards, processes, tools, and setup
- Experience aligning Martech roadmaps and strategies to business strategy
- Experience with Salesforce and Adobe products and platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, Adobe Assets)
- Experience with rationalisation, consolidation, and integration across domains using a formal framework
- Proven ability to influence senior business and IT partners to adopt innovative solutions
- Experience defining and developing components of an Enterprise Architecture practice
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and leading diverse teams
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building at senior levels
- Awareness of market developments and relevance to AZ IS
- Ability to work in diverse, multinational teams and translate technical info into business language
