Experteer Overview

The position blends leadership, hands-on testing, and mentorship to strengthen the QA function across multiple pods. This is an opportunity to impact gameplay quality at scale in a fast-paced, hybrid setup in Barcelona.

• Lead testing efforts for complex features and systems across platforms
• Develop and maintain testing strategies, plans, and release validation processes
• Design and maintain comprehensive test suites; establish quality documentation and testing infrastructure
• Monitor and investigate defects in JIRA; provide root cause analysis and actionable reports
• Coordinate testing across multiple pods; prioritize and adapt to changing needs
• Identify quality risks early; partner with leadership to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, PMs, and other QA teams to embed quality into design
• Mentor junior QA members; promote best practices and continuous improvement
• Communicate testing results and risks clearly to stakeholders; advocate for quality

• Minimum 5 years in QA, software development, or related field
• Experience leading testing efforts or QA workstreams
• Strong understanding of game quality, system dependencies, performance, and player experience on mobile/PC
• Experience designing test plans, suites, and testing frameworks for complex features
• Experience managing external QA vendors or testers; delegating and analyzing results
• Strong experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA; root cause analysis
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present testing insights
• Experience mentoring QA team members and working in collaborative teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with independent problem-solving
