C++ Tech Lead

Experteer Overview

You’ll collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful aviation tech at scale. You will mentor developers and lead by example in a fast-paced, inclusive culture. This is a chance to influence critical flight-tracking and weather-integrated platforms used globally.

• Architect and implement high-performance, scalable C++ backend components for real-time data processing
• Develop multi-threaded, event-driven services for flight tracking, alerting, and weather integration
• Define APIs and data interfaces with cloud and distributed subsystems
• Establish engineering guidelines for C++, testing, CI/CD, and security aligned with aviation reliability standards
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to deliver solutions
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of developers, fostering knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure high availability, reliability, and security
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements
• Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and effort estimation

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++20)
• Experience with real-time, data-intensive applications and multi-threading
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, and clean coding practices
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ; Flyway is a plus
• Experience migrating legacy applications and large-scale distributed systems
• English C1 level
• Aviation knowledge is a plus
