As Product Director for Global Accounts and Payment Schemes, you will own the strategy and delivery of Thunes' cross-border business payments offerings. You will shape the roadmap, build core capabilities, and drive scalable solutions that serve corporate clients and partners.You’ll collaborate with network, treasury, operations, and commercial teams to resolve complex payment challenges and accelerate revenue growth. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-growing fintech network. You will lead with impact, shaping how global payments move money quickly and securely.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define and drive the global business payments roadmap aligned with company strategy and customer needs
- Identify, design, and prioritize capabilities for cross-border payment solutions (direct rails, RTP schemes, virtual accounts, SWIFT integration)
- Translate complex requirements into actionable initiatives and delivery plans
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and optimization
- Ensure products are scalable, secure, compliant, and operationally efficient
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, network, and compliance teams to deliver solutions
- Use data-driven insights to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Build and enhance core payments capabilities (multi-currency accounts, cross-border corridors, scheme integrations)
- Ensure payment message formats/processes comply with global cross-border standards
- Identify capability gaps and define mitigation paths for operational, commercial, or technical risks
- Engage with banks, payment schemes, and SWIFT partners to enable functionality and resolve issues
- Enable new payment capabilities that support revenue growth and product expansion
- 10+ years in product management, preferably in business payments, cross-border payments, or banking technology
- Strong understanding of global payments infrastructure (SEPA, FPS, SWIFT, RTP schemes)
- Proven track record of defining and delivering roadmaps and cross-border capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Ability to own complex initiatives independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
