As an Associate Product Manager for Payments Content, you will transform complex payment knowledge into clear, merchant-facing content across help pages, in-product surfaces, emails, and articles. You’ll partner with Payments Experience, Merchant Success, Support, and PayOps to close knowledge gaps and treat content as part of the product experience.This role is an entry point into product management, with a clear path to a full PM role and a focus on consistency, clarity, and impact across SumUp’s payments ecosystem.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Translate complex product and ecosystem knowledge into structured merchant-facing materials (FAQs, Help pages, in-product content, emails, articles)
- Identify knowledge gaps by collaborating with Product teams, Merchant Success, Support, and PayOps
- Integrate content into the product experience across help pages, in-product surfaces, reporting, AI assistant, and Merchant Success materials
- Maintain a consistent voice and structure for Payments documentation across channels
- Assist with crafting communications to key stakeholders and understand domain dependencies
- Continuously learn about stakeholder needs and domain dependencies to inform product work
- Help connect multiple SumUp products (payments acceptance, POS, SumUp Bank, payouts, reporting) into cohesive merchant narratives
- Proactively identify areas to improve product clarity or functionality based on merchant feedback and content gaps
- Exceptional written communication in English
- Structured thinking and ability to decompose complex topics
- Merchant empathy and focus on reducing friction for small businesses
- Persistence with ambiguity; ability to move forward with drafts when not all details are defined
- Basic analytical skills to spot patterns in feedback and prioritize content improvements
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with diverse stakeholders
- Curiosity and learning potential; prior PM experience not required
