In this role you will help build and oversee Scopely’s technology audit function, aligning risk-based activities with strategic goals. You will partner with technology leaders to strengthen controls, governance, and compliance across the business, including AI and security domains.You’ll lead continuous improvement of audit processes using data analytics and automation, and you’ll influence senior stakeholders with clear, risk-focused insights. - Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan covering technology, cybersecurity, IT, and AI-related risks
- Evaluate internal controls, risk mitigation, and governance compliance in technology areas; identify gaps and propose improvements
- Advise technology leaders and the Head of Internal Audit on technology risk, controls, governance, and compliance
- Establish and implement an optimal internal audit operating model with in-house and co-sourced resources as appropriate
- Drive process improvements using data analytics, automation, and digital tools; implement continuous monitoring/auditing and AI-driven insights
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and IT to develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan
- Stay current on regulations, emerging risks, and gaming industry trends to enable proactive risk management
- Prepare and present audit reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Assist in managing the internal audit budget and ensure alignment with business needs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, finance, or related field
- Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) highly desirable
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive internal audit experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focusing on technology audit
- Experience in the video game industry or related entertainment/technology sectors
- Strong understanding of GIAS, governance frameworks (COSO, COBIT, ISO), internal controls, risk management, and compliance in technology, security, and AI
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and mentoring abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Experience with complex, multinational organizations and enterprise risk management
