As a Payroll Specialist at Air Products’ European Shared Services Center in Barcelona, you will deliver accurate payroll processing and administrative support for multiple countries. You will collaborate with HR and external providers to ensure compliant payroll operations and timely payments, while maintaining records and contributing to process improvements.This role sits at the intersection of payroll, HR admin, and cross-border services in a diverse, safety‑driven company. You will help build reliable payroll services that enable accurate compensation and regulatory compliance across regions.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Handle payroll inquiries for assigned countries
- Process accurate and timely payroll including payments to authorities and benefits providers
- Coordinate with Payroll Specialists and external providers to support compliance and smooth operations
- Maintain payroll and benefits records; prepare ad hoc reports
- Support internal controls and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Document procedures and stay updated on payroll regulations
- Build relationships with HR managers and service providers
- Provide effective service and assist with additional projects as needed
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Payroll/HR environment/admin
- Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with high level of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service attitude
- Open-minded, eager to learn, flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask
