Experteer Overview
In this fixed-term role you own the Spain and Italy payroll cycle end-to-end, ensuring compliance and accuracy. You will drive automation and process improvements within a cross-functional People Operations context. The position offers meaningful scope to influence payroll quality and supplier relationships while supporting rapid growth in Southern Europe.You’ll work closely with multiple teams to keep payroll data reliable and compliant, contributing to a more efficient People function.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Own the end-to-end payroll cycle for Spain and Italy, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements using tools like Workday and Payslip
- Handle employee payroll queries via the ticketing system with care and clarity
- Collaborate with People Operations, Compensation and Benefits, and Accounting to maintain accurate payroll data
- Support regional payroll lead in managing relationships with external providers (health and pension)
- Review and update country-level payroll policies and procedures as the business evolves
- Hands-on payroll experience covering full cycle, with familiarity in Spain or Italy
- Solid understanding of Spanish and/or Italian labour and tax law and ability to apply it independently
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and high data accuracy
- Experience working cross-functionally and communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive mindset for process improvement and automation
- Fluency in English plus Spanish or Italian
