Senior Project Controller

This position offers exposure to multi-geography projects in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

• Monitor and analyze project financial performance with Project Managers and Directors
• Conduct project re-forecasts and cost-to-complete reviews for accurate revenue recognition
• Provide insights, variance analysis, and recommendations for decision-making
• Present monthly results including risks and opportunities to Senior Leadership
• Review contracts and set up projects in the ERP in line with SOX and internal controls
• Maintain project financial data through lifecycle (setup, amendments, variations, closure)
• Ensure correct revenue recognition across projects and prepare MIS packages
• Prepare client billing in coordination with Project Managers; support collections and manage WIP
• Contribute to month-end close including accruals for subcontractors and freelancers
• Lead or participate in project financial reviews to identify risks and corrective actions
• Train PMs on financial governance and best practices
• Support audits and drive process improvements in controls and efficiency
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed

• MBA, M.Com, CMA or equivalent finance qualification
• 4-5 years in project finance, controllership, or financial project administration in services/consultancy
• Strong understanding of ASC606, IFRS, US GAAP
• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, modelling)
• MS PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage
• Maconomy or similar ERP experience; willingness to learn
• High numerical accuracy and strong analytical skills
• Experience in a multi-geography matrix organization (Europe/Asia/India)
