As Global Head of CDC, you lead Siemens’ global Cyber Defense Center and Security Operations Center, directing 24/7 threat detection and incident response. You shape the CDC strategy and oversee cross-functional collaboration with TI, CERT, and external partners to strengthen security across IT/OT.You drive transformation of Siemens ONE TECH security initiatives and ensure measurable service excellence. This role offers global impact, strategic influence, and a chance to advance Siemens’ cybersecurity resilience.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define and execute strategic improvements for the CDC and long-term security agenda
- Lead the Siemens ONE SOC strategy with internal stakeholders for unified tech security
- Collaborate with TI and CERT to develop roadmaps and productivity initiatives
- Oversee continuous monitoring of security events across IT and OT environments
- Manage a globally distributed SOC/threat detection team, including staffing and roadmap execution
- Own service delivery, KPIs, tooling decisions, and process improvements
- Oversee budget planning, portfolio scoping, and financial oversight for CDC
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with CERT, Threat Intelligence, and other departments
- Engage with external partners, industry groups, and academia to strengthen cybersecurity posture
- Represent CDC in high-level meetings and maintain feedback loops with stakeholders
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, incident response, threat detection or threat intelligence
- Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Proven track record leading technical teams in distributed, complex environments
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to present complex topics to management and technical partners
- Self-motivated advisor with strong network in the cybersecurity community
- Fluent in English (German beneficial)
