You will contribute to methodological advances and represent Biometrics externally through publications and presentations. This position offers scope to shape analytics, influence decisions, and advance innovative statistical solutions in a global context.

• Lead statistical thinking and contributions to studies, regulatory strategy, health technology assessment and commercial activities
• Direct project work with statistics staff and CRO partners to meet standards, quality and time
• Develop design options and provide high-quality decision support for study or project decisions
• Quantify benefit, risk, value and uncertainty of asset/product profile
• Investigate and apply novel statistical approaches including modelling and simulation
• Mentor/coach statistics staff and support education and training
• Lead statistical thinking and contributions in project teams for multiple studies/indications
• Oversee delivery on a global project statistician basis for standard drug projects
• Contribute to statistical methodological advances
• Interact with external scientists and represent Biometrics externally via publications/presentations on novel statistical approaches

• MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component) or recognised equivalent to stats MSc
• Strong knowledge of programming in R and/or SAS
• Knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements related to the role
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
• Experience of independent research and delivering innovative statistical solutions in an applied environment
