As a Senior Mobile Engineer on Stripe’s Barcelona team, you will own significant portions of the React Native codebase and help shape architectural decisions. You will work with product, design, and cross-functional partners to deliver polished, high-performance mobile experiences for Stripe merchants.You’ll drive architecture, mentor peers, and advance AI-assisted engineering practices. You’ll tackle performance bottlenecks and help scale mobile CI/CD and tooling, enabling millions of merchants to thrive. This role offers high-impact, mission-driven work in a fast-paced environment.

- Own mobile layer architecture (navigation, state management, native modules, performance)
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, standards, and testing culture
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and foster technical growth
- Identify and resolve JS/native performance bottlenecks and scale CI/CD
- Act as the primary mobile platform liaison translating requirements into mobile initiatives
- Maintain architectural integrity and rigorous standards across projects
- 5+ years of professional mobile development with strong React Native focus
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns (Flux/Redux/MobX)
- Proven expertise in React Native including architecture, performance, and production readiness
