In this role, you scale ABB’s Autonomous Manipulative Mobile Robotics (AMMR) technology across global customer applications. You work at the intersection of product development, operations, and solution delivery to turn innovative robotics into robust, repeatable, commercial solutions.You will shape the evolution of a breakthrough offering by collaborating with customers, Product Management, and Ru0026amp;D. The position offers global scope, cross-functional impact, and opportunities to drive deployment success and engineering excellence.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define and drive validation, verification, and TRL strategy for AMMR solutions, including KPIs, acceptance criteria, and deployment milestones from pilot to scale
- Own technical success of AMMR pilots and early deployments; lead troubleshooting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain reference architectures, solution templates, and engineering standards for AMMR applications across market segments
- Translate customer requirements into scalable system concepts, specifications, and interfaces ensuring feasibility, performance, safety, and repeatability
- Drive development of new applications and solution variants; provide feedback to PM and Ru0026D to accelerate maturity and adoption
- Act as primary technical interface between PM, Ru0026D, Global/Local Engineering, and customers to enable successful deployments through best practices, docs, and training
- Lead and mentor AMMR Application Engineers to promote engineering excellence, standardization, and reuse of validated solutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, autonomous systems, or complex electromechanical products
- Proven ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, including system architectures and deployment concepts
- Strong systems engineering mindset with hands-on experience integrating robotic systems, controls, software, safety systems, and industrial IT/OT environments
- Experience supporting pilots, proofs-of-concepts, and early product deployments, including validation and troubleshooting
- Strong collaboration and technical leadership across PM, Ru0026D, engineering, operations, and customer teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; willingness to travel up to 50%
