Payroll Specialist - Arabic and English

• Process payroll accurately and on time for assigned countries, including salaries, expenses, and timesheets
• Answer payroll-related questions from employees, HR, and collaborators
• Remit payroll payments to tax authorities, social insurance bodies, and benefits providers; prepare regulatory forms
• Maintain and update payroll and benefits records, including changes in pay and personnel status
• Collaborate with other Payroll Specialists and external providers to ensure smooth operations and compliance
• Stay up to date on payroll practices and regulatory requirements for the countries handled
• Support internal controls by documenting, developing, and testing payroll-related processes
• Prepare ad hoc payroll reports and analyze payroll data as needed
• Document payroll procedures and guidelines; contribute to process improvements
• Build relationships with external providers and Country HR Managers for timely information flow
• Handle payment requests and support of payroll-related projects as needed

• Proficient in Arabic (Middle East) and English; additional languages are a plus
• Open-minded, flexible, able to multitask in a cross-functional environment
• Customer-service oriented with a proactive, practical approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time-management and attention to detail
• Solid PC literacy with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling payroll data
