Experteer Overview

In this role you will support origination, structuring and execution of Trade Finance solutions across geographies, contributing to commercial growth and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations to deliver complex transactions and develop new opportunities.

The position offers exposure to international clients and senior stakeholders while combining day-to-day execution with innovative structuring projects. You will help shape strategic Trade Finance solutions across Santander’s global platform.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

Support origination, structuring and execution of Trade Finance transactions (Guarantes, Letters of Credit, Trade Loans, etc.) across multiple geographies
Manage relationships with geographies and internal stakeholders to support growth, pricing optimization and product delivery
Prepare and deliver pricing proposals for Letters of Credit, Guarantees and other Trade Finance opportunities
Coordinate transaction execution and drive internal approvals with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Middle Office and Finance
Monitor pipeline, revenues and opportunities in assigned markets to achieve commercial targets
Support structuring, commercialization and execution of strategic transactions and collateral-backed structures
Prepare high-quality client presentations, business cases and management reports with strong analytical content
Contribute to process improvements, product development and identification of new business opportunities across Santander’s network

Responsabilidades

3 to 6 years of experience in Banking, Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Financial Institutions or Structured Finance
Experience managing Trade Finance transactions (LCs, Guarantees, Trade Loans)
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Law, Engineering or related disciplines
English required; Spanish preferred; Portuguese or other languages a plus
Strong understanding of Trade Finance products (LCs, Guarantees) and risk mitigation instruments
Knowledge of regulatory/compliance/capital frameworks affecting Trade Finance (AML, Sanctions, Basel, KYC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of evaluating complex transactions
Advanced Excel u0026 PowerPoint; knowledge of Trade document standards (UCP 600, ISP98, URDG 758)
