In this role you own end-to-end RCAs for Machine Head mechanical systems, driving root-cause analysis and systemic fleet improvements. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to close actions, reduce major component failures, and enhance availability and customer trust.Your RCA toolkit and mechanical depth enable rapid containment and robust corrective actions. You will lead, document, and communicate progress while shaping fleet-wide quality initiatives.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Wing-to-wing ownership of Machine Head mechanical issues for assigned RCAs
- Lead, execute, and resolve RCAs across technical and operational perspectives to shorten resolution time and reduce MCU events
- Define and implement fast-track containment for RCAs
- Build effective relationships with Fleet Performance, NPI Engineering, Field, Sourcing, Parts, Quality and other teams
- Identify and secure required roles for the RCA team and escalate when needed
- Monitor RCA impact on availability and coordinate with MCU team to reduce failure rates of major components
- Track RCA KPIs (especially OTD)
- Provide clear technical communication for internal and external customers
- Support escalated PAC cases and own RCA disposition
- Support SAFER Actions and define approaches to minimize re-work
- Coordinate with Sourcing on supplier recovery and field quality resolutions
- Provide updates on RCA progress via Quality Suite
- Define RCA budget and manage PO workflow and approvals
- Maintain organized RCA documentation in Fleet Engineering folder
- Own the RCA report and provide regular progress updates
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Proven experience leading and closing mechanical RCAs (8D, Shainin, Lean, Six Sigma or similar)
- Experience in the wind industry is preferred
