Experteer Overview

In this role you will own the Iberia retail market (Spain and Portugal) and shape SumUp’s presence with key retailers, distributors, and sales agencies. You’ll drive joint business plans, manage budgets and forecasts, and lead cross-functional collaboration to maximize in-store visibility and distribution.

You will expand the Iberian footprint by onboarding new retailers and ensuring product readiness and aligned targets. This is a hands-on, autonomous role within a supportive European team, centered in Barcelona with a strong impact on regional growth.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
  • Build and manage relationships with Iberian retail partners (buyers and purchasing directors) to drive joint business plans and growth
  • Coordinate and lead the regional commercial structure (sales agencies and distributors) ensuring alignment on targets, stock, and operations
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Marketing Development to maximise in-store visibility and promotional impact
  • Manage end-to-end budget control, sales forecasting, and business reporting for the Iberia market
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand SumUp’s retail footprint, add retailers, and broaden product listings
Responsabilidades
  • Strong background in business development, key account management, or retail sales within FMCG or Consumer Electronics with Iberia experience
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing joint business plans with retail buyers or purchasing directors
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong business-level English; Portuguese is a plus
  • Comfort leading cross-functional coordination across logistics, supply chain, and commercial teams with autonomy
  • Entrepreneurial, data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to translate numbers into decisions
