Experteer Overview
In this role you will design, build, and operate scalable Power BI and extensibility platforms that power Microsoft, customers, and partners at scale. You will own end-to-end technical areas, crafting production services, developer tooling, and deployment workflows within the Azure Data and Power BI ecosystem.Your work accelerates analytics experiences across Power BI, Office, and Teams integrations, contributing to a data-first AI-powered platform. This is a collaborative, impact-driven opportunity to shape enterprise analytics at scale.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Design and operate reliable product and platform capabilities for Power BI mobile, Office, Teams, embedded analytics, and extensibility scenarios
- Build and evolve developer-facing SDKs, APIs, command-line tooling, packaging flows, and partner integration systems
- Develop secure, maintainable services and automation using TypeScript, Node.js, C#, .NET, PowerShell, Azure services, and modern web frameworks
- Improve CI/CD, release, certification, deployment, and distribution pipelines
- Partner with engineers, PMs, designers, security, service infra, and partner teams to define technical direction and deliver integrated Power BI experiences
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve code development, test generation, documentation, and operational insights
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and clear risk/decision communication
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and hands-on coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python or equivalent
- Experience building production services, developer platforms, SDKs, APIs, or CLI tooling
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, C#, .NET, PowerShell, or similar tech
- Experience with Azure services (App Service, Blob Storage, Azure Front Door, Traffic Manager, Key Vault, managed identities)
- Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, deployment automation, Azure DevOps, GitHub, OneBranch, EV2
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, BI/analytics platforms, Office or Teams integrations, embedded analytics, or custom visuals
- Familiarity with secure software development, marketplace certification, package distribution, observability, telemetry, or production operations
- Interest in AI-assisted engineering tools and modern engineering practices
