You will mentor junior developers, promote learning, and introduce innovative approaches to improve the software backbone of a circular, sustainable packaging business. This role offers influence over infrastructure choices and a chance to shape software that supports sustainable food supply chains.

• Contribute to software design and development with scalable architectures
• Ensure software quality, accuracy, and reliability
• Improve performance and scalability for large data and transactions
• Drive continuous innovation and identify improvement opportunities
• Mentor and coach junior developers and foster learning culture
• Monitor and improve software reliability and bug resolution timelines
• Track performance metrics (e.g., processing times, uptime)
• Lead scalable solution implementations to meet current and future needs
• Gather and respond to stakeholder feedback from product managers, data engineers, and business leaders
• Implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance the software infrastructure

• Extensive knowledge of web technologies and protocols
• In-depth experience in RDBMS development
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and applications
• Experience with clean architectures, testing methodologies, and API development
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java; also TypeScript, Kotlin, J or similar)
• Ability to devise creative business and technical solutions
• Capable of serving as a role model in technical decision-making and solution design
• Experience with frameworks like Symfony or SpringBoot
• Business-fluent English; additional languages are a plus
